2020 is here, and with that, new trends are being set in every industry. But there is one specific trend that influences everything around it: the Pantone color of the year. Pantone announces the next “it” color every December, during the Art Basel festival in Miami. Unlike 2019, when the color of the year was a very bold orange shade (Living Coral), this year Pantone’s color is a back to classics shade (as its name suggests): Pantone Classic Blue.
The Pantone Color of the Year 2020 is a “timeless and enduring blue hue, evocative of the vast and infinite evening sky”. Even thought Classic Blue is a rich shade, it is also very elegant and just as traditional to its similar navy blue shade, being the last one a little darker.
Wether you would like to use Classic Blue as a dominant or accent color, incorporating the 2020 Color of the Year on your wedding day will be far from a daunting task – still, the more inspiration the merrier, so we are here to help!
From stationery to wedding decor, scroll down to find out how to use the 2020 Color of the year, PANTONE 19-4052 Classic Blue, on your wedding.
